Why You Should Choose Interlocking Pavers?

Our team is dedicated to creating beautiful landscapes and meticulously
caring for them with unmatched services.

1. Durability and Strength

When installed correctly, your interlocking pavers will look beautiful for a long time. They will generally last longer than poured concrete and asphalt. All it takes is proper maintenance and quick repairs (when needed), and your interlocking pavers will hold their strength and appearance for many years.

2.Easy to Maintain

You have enough to do as a homeowner already; maintaining your driveway should not be time intensive! An Interlock Driveway makes maintenance easy.

3.Enhance Your Home’s Appearance

Interlocking pavers offer more of a distinguished look to your home than asphalt or poured concrete can. A huge benefit of pavers is they can be personalized to suit your home through complementary colours, such as beige, coral, or a diverse blend of darker colours. Pavers can also suit any home’s style, due to the different designs you can choose from and make with them.

4.The Price is Right

Interlocking pavers are extremely affordable when you look at what they add to the appearance of your home, and how long they last. It’s a much more affordable option than natural stone, and pavers are also cost-efficient when compared to other, less durable options.

5.Add Curb Appeal and Resale Value

Interlocking pavers are visually pleasing and add an extra element of beauty to any home. Pavers add resale value for when and if you decide to sell. A potential buyer will see the pavers and know if they buy your home, they will not have to deal with the hassle of installing a new driveway, or patio. For buyers looking for a move-in ready property, interlocking pavers can be the deciding factor between your home and someone else’s.

Fence Q&A

1. What’s most important part of intelrock? How depth of your excavation?
The most important part of any intelrock project is the base preparation. While the choice of pavers affects appearance, the foundation is what determines durability. That’s why we prioritize doing it right from the ground up.

We do base to the correct depth, 12’’ for patios, 18’’ for parking grade interlock and even deeper for Multi-level stone steps, walls and flower beds.

We use high-quality granular base materials, instead of recycle materials, with thorough compaction in multiple layers. The interlock will be finished with proper grading for water drainage.
2. What is interlock and why is it popular in Ottawa?
Interlock (interlocking pavers) is a durable and versatile material used for driveways, patios, and walkways. It’s especially popular in Ottawa because it can withstand freeze-thaw cycles, resist cracking, and is easy to repair compared to poured concrete.
3. How long does an interlock installation take?
Most residential projects take 3 to 7 days to complete, depending on the size and complexity. Larger or more detailed projects-sunch as stone steps, multi-level walls or patios may take up to 1-2 weeks. Weather conditions in Ottawa can also affect the timeline.
4. Does interlock require maintenance?
Yes. Proper maintenance helps extend the lifespan and keeps the surface looking new, but maintenance is relatively simple. For example, refill polymeric sand every few years, clean and seal the surface periodically, or repair spots on time as needed.
5. Will interlock shift or sink over time?
When installed properly with a solid base, interlock is designed to remain stable for many years. However, poor installation or inadequate base preparation can lead to shifting or sinking. We use proper excavation depths (12’’ or 18’’) and high-quality base materials (Geogrid&HPB) to ensure your interlock is level, durable, and built to last in Ottawa’s climate.
